Water Cooled Screw Chiller Installation:
1. Preparation and Location:
Foundation:
The chiller should be placed on a stable, level surface that can support its weight.
Clearance:
Sufficient space around the chiller is needed for maintenance, especially for air-cooled models where adequate ventilation is crucial.
Electrical:
A dedicated power supply and circuit breaker should be installed, and the chiller should be properly grounded.
2. Water Connections:
Cooling Tower: Connect the chiller to the cooling tower, ensuring proper water flow and pressure.
Inlet/Outlet: Identify and correctly connect the water inlet and outlet pipes.
Piping: Install a pressure gauge, rubber soft joint, and filters in the piping system.
3. Electrical Connections:
Wiring: Ensure all wiring and controls are correctly installed and secure.
Dedicated Power: Use a dedicated power supply and circuit breaker for the chiller.
Grounding: Properly ground the chiller to prevent electrical issues.
