R32 has the potential to explode, with explosion limits ranging from 14.4% to 29.3%. Therefore, its low flammability needs to be addressed in its application in household air conditioning.
R32's refrigeration performance is similar to R410a. Key Features:
1. Environmental Performance: Zero ozone depletion potential (ODP=0), with a global warming potential (GWP) far lower than R410A.
2. High Energy Efficiency: Excellent thermal conductivity, resulting in better heat transfer and improved air conditioning energy efficiency.
3. Low Charge: High volumetric cooling capacity, requiring approximately 12% less charge than R410A.
4. Safety Class: Low toxicity (A1), but with mild flammability (A2L).
R32, as a new type of environmentally friendly refrigerant, is currently one of the main replacement models. Its demand as a transitional product in the short term is obvious. However, due to its inherent dangers and frequent accidents, manufacturers should focus more on strengthening safety operation skills training and public awareness campaigns. Of course, R32 will maintain a certain position until a new alternative refrigerant is developed.
